About Earthship Biotecture Visitor Center
On the mesa outside Taos, houses with rounded walls, glass-bottle mosaics, and greenhouse corridors seem to have landed from another planet. These are Earthships, experimental homes designed to collect water, generate power, and reuse materials such as tires and bottles.
