Bell Buckle’s annual festival is built around the familiar Southern pairing of RC Cola and MoonPie. The theme becomes an excuse for an intentionally playful day of food, small-town spectacle and competitions, with MoonPies appearing in games, decorations and the festival’s biggest edible attraction.
The schedule includes a 10K and 5K, live music, clogging, a parade, quirky games, a King and Queen ceremony, a MoonPie-eating or related challenge and the ceremonial cutting of a giant MoonPie shared with visitors. The next edition is already announced for June 19, 2027. Road races require separate registration, while current general spectator pricing has not yet been posted.
