Since 1988, Little Chute has devoted the first weekend of June to a three-day celebration centered on Wisconsin cheese. The festival combines the familiar format of a community fair with enough cheese-specific programming to keep the dairy theme unmistakable throughout the weekend.
Visitors can sample cheese, watch cheese carving, see or enter cheese-curd eating contests, browse food booths, ride carnival attractions and enjoy live music and family entertainment. The Big Cheese Parade adds another downtown component. The next festival is already scheduled for June 4 through 6, 2027. Friday and Saturday require an inexpensive admission pass, while Sunday is the festival’s free-admission day.
