The Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival began as a local fundraiser and has grown into one of Indian River County’s best-known annual events. Its signature attraction is the food, especially frog leg and gator tail dinners, which give the festival its unusual identity and draw visitors from well beyond the small city.
The festival also includes amusement rides, live entertainment, craft and merchandise vendors and family activities around the Fellsmere City Hall / Old School Complex. The organizer has already announced the 36th annual festival for January 21 through 24, 2027. General admission and parking are free.
