At Sunday River, competitors carry a partner through a 278-yard obstacle course with dry barriers and a water hazard. The winning team receives the carried partner’s weight in beer and five times that weight in cash. Married status is not required.
The championship is usually held in October. Check the resort for the current date, rules, and registration details.
